The winner of the first series of The Apprentice, Tim Campbell, will be among a panel of high flying former students hoping to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs at a special Thames Valley University event.
The Enterprise Showcase will be held on Wednesday 1 March 2006 from 10am to 1pm in the Students' Union Hall at Thames Valley University in Ealing. Chris Galvin: Founder and MD of the acclaimed Galvin restaurant London.
The host of the Enterprise Showcase is TVU Chancellor Karan Bilimoria CBE DL. Karan is founder and chief executive of Cobra Beer and is recognised as one of the UK's brightest and most innovative entrepreneurs. Karan will give his annual Chancellor's Lecture at the event.
Professor David Jones, TVU Pro-Vice Chancellor and Dean of the Faculty of Professional Studies, will give a presentation about the Enterprise Agenda at TVU. This will be followed by Enterprise Activities involving the Slough Enterprise Hub, the Mandeville Group Prize Winner, WestFocus and other entrepreneurs. The day will conclude with a free lunch in TVU's own student-run restaurant Pillars.
